StreetDeck Parklets Have Great Customizable Options
There are numerous options for customizing your StreetDeck Parklet. Whether you want your parklet to blend into your downtown aesthetic, represent your municipality or business with branded elements, or stand out with bold colors, we have options to help you fulfill your vision.
Size
StreetDeck parklets are available and 6’ and 8’ widths and in lengths to suit different site requirements. Popular lengths include 12', 14', and 32'—with 12' and 14' typically fitting within a single parking space, and 32' spanning two spaces. For larger projects, custom configurations are available; our longest continuous installation to date measures 86'.
Color
The standard color for our railings and planters is the charcoal grey with a crinkle finish, but we can powder coat in a wide variety of colors. Matte finishes are also available. Custom colors require a minimum 2-month lead time.
Plantings
Choose your own greenery and flowers for your planters to add a beautiful, natural aesthetic to your parklet. You can choose native plants to match the streetscape or add color and vibrancy with bright flowers. Planter shelf depths can be adjusted for different plant needs. Note, we do not provide plants or containers for plants.
Structural Components
Vertical aluminum railings and stainless steel wire tensioned between top and bottom rails can also be supplied instead of powder coated steel panels. Both these items are sourced from 3rd party suppliers. You can also use railings of your own choice, subject to meeting all local regulations and mounting compatibility with our planters.
Laser cut planters are a great place to add custom branding for your municipality or business.
We can create custom laser cut fence panels that replace the horizontal railings. City logos and unique patterns that match the local aesthetic are all possible.
Choose from 24” x 24” x ¾” (2cm) thick porcelain pavers or 1 ¾” thick Ipe wood tiles. Porcelain pavers are available in multiple styles and over 80 colors.
Porcelain pavers offer excellent, slip, fade, and scratch resistance making them a great choice for high traffic areas. Ipe wood deck tiles are also exceptionally durable and scratch resistant.
Some municipalities require permanent or built-in seating options. 48” Ipe wood slat benches can easily be mounted between the planters at the ends of the deck without compromising additional furniture seating.

Columbia, SC
Outside the Columbia Museum of Art in South Carolina, there was interest in having a place for people to socialize. A 6’ x 32’ StreeDeck parklet proved to be the solution. Custom painted with unique and colorful designs, this parklet stands out as a place for people to come together either before or after visiting this great museum. Riverstone porcelain pavers are used for the flooring, beautifully complimenting the colorful parklet.

Appleton, WI
As part of the revitalization of Appleton, WI downtown, a StreetDeck parklet was used to create a space for people to socialize and enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin summers. The city enlisted a local artist to create Mile of Music themed parklet to pay homage to and add consistent exposure for their annual summer music festival.
